Delivery

 

Why do you charge for delivery to a BFPO address?  As a company, The Forces Store is not allowed to use the free postage service offered to family. We do however offer a tracked service right up until signed delivery giving you a greater reassurance that your gifts will arrive with your loved ones.  We do try and keep all our postage costs to an absolute minimum.

 
CHRISTMAS DELIVERY 2011
For the best chance of getting your Christmas gifts delivered in time, please see our suggested last ordering dates. These are in line with guidance from the BFPO. As we say every year, the best way of ensuring your gift gets there is in time is to order early.  As you can imagine the BFPO are extremely busy in November / December.

Delivery to a UKaddress:
Products are normally despatched within 24 hours; however, please allow up to 5 days for delivery. 
 
Delivery to a BFPO address: 
Gifts are delivered to the BFPO sorting office in London every Tuesday and Friday. They are then despatched quickly and delivered to the majority of BFPO address between 2-4 working days. However, for remote addresses or operational areas deliveries can take up to 2 weeks.
 
All our orders are tracked up until signed delivery. 
 
Cakes:
All cakes are despatched on the next working day. They can therefore arrive at the BFPO sorting office the following day and be delivered in 2-4 working days from then.  For flowers, delivery times should be noted at the time of booking. 
  
 
Weight restrictions for BFPO addresses:
A 2kg restriction applies for Operations & Exercises.
 
All of our products are under 2kg, however if an order combines certain products, it may exceed this limit. In this event the customer will be contacted and a solution sought.
